It hasn't been easy for bars in Texas during the coronavirus pandemic and this past Friday, it got even tougher. Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced that bars would have to close down once again due to the high number of coronavirus cases in the state. All bars have been impacted by this, from wine bars to college bars, from those who played by the rules to those who didn't.

How is that fair?

While things have been far from perfect for restaurant owners, at least they have had a fighting chance. How can bars have a chance in this "one size fits all" environment?

Sadly, I think we are looking at a bar apocalypse in Lubbock and throughout Texas and that will have many consequences. My full thoughts in the video above.
