Hockley County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Burglary Suspect

A man suspected of burglary has been arrested by Hockley County authorities.

Lauro Edmundo Garcia of Levelland has been arrested on a warrant for Burglary of a Habitation. He remains in the Hockley County Jail on $10,000 bond.

Garcia is suspected of burglarizing two homes in Hockley County in early September, and authorities have recovered all the items that were reported stolen.

Other charges are pending, including Burglary of a Habitation and Theft of Property.
