Hike With The Mayor This Saturday In Lubbock

This Saturday you will have a chance to visit with Lubbock Mayor Dan Pope and get a little exercise in.

The City of Lubbock announced that Hike With The Mayor will take place Saturday, May 18th beginning at 9:00 a.m. The hike will take place at Dunbar Historical Lake located at Martin Luther King Boulevard and East Canyon Lake Drive. The hike will cover 2.8 miles.

No bikes, dogs, or strollers are allowed during the event. According to the event's Facebook page there will be water, coffee, and doughnuts provided. The event is free for the entire family.
