February is Heart Month and not just because Valentine's Day is around the corner. Heart Month has to do with heart health and recognizing the foods and things you can do to stay heart healthy.

Brenda Garcia joined us today to talk about which foods are good for your heart. The first food Garcia mentioned was salmon. Not only is salmon tasty, it's also good for your heart. Salmon is rich in Omega 3 fatty acids which help increases good cholesterol while lowering bad cholesterol.

Garcia also said walnuts are a good source of Omega 3 as well.
