Hasty: The Increasingly Divided United States, And Civil War Rumblings [AUDIO]
Thursday on The Chad Hasty Show, Chad talked about the buzz, more and more frequently heard from even major media outlets around the world, of the widening ideological divide in the United States, leading to more and more hatred and sometimes violence, which some say is beginning to resemble a civil war.
While sharing his thoughts on the rapidly expanding gap between strongly held values, resulting in nearly completely opposite basic belief systems in the nation, Hasty said,
We're more polarized than we have been in forever, we're two different nations. Yes we come together for a few things, but we are, at this point, we are two different nations. Is Joe Biden going to solve that and bring us all Kumbaya-ing together? No. This is a big country, millions of people, and it's amazing that we've only had one civil war. I'm not advocating for one. I'm just telling you right now, it's not an insane thing that a lot of people believe that we're on the cusp of one.
