Wednesday on The Chad Hasty Show, Hasty talked about one of the newest villains being brought forth in the national discussion: So-called "fake news."

The ethereal "fake news" is being blamed for the media-declared "division" in the U.S. It's even being blamed, in part, for the resulting victory of Donald J. Trump in the general election for President of the United States.

Hasty talked about some of the many stories that the media, especially the "main stream media" has proliferated, that were based on narratives which were later proven to be false, such as the "hands-up-don't-shoot" mantra pushed in the aftermath of the police shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, which resulted in the "Black Lives Matter" movement and many days of rioting, looting, vandalism, and extensive targeting of police officers.

Hasty said:

You want to talk about a fake news story? There you go. That police officers are just walking around gunning down black Americans for fun. How many officers have been killed because of that reasoning? How many officers have been killed because of that narrative that has been sold by our media. How many businesses have been looted because of that? How many businesses have been burned because of that? How many cars have been damaged because of that? So this whole thing, of the media now, all of a sudden, 'We're against fake news.' No you're not. You spread it!
