Wednesday on The Chad Hasty Show, a listener asked Chad what citizens can do to force Congress and President Biden to stop ignoring their constitutional duties of protecting the U.S. border and restraining their wasteful spending.

The conversation took place in the midst of a 1.9 trillion dollar COVID-19 stimulus bill being completed, with extravagant spending built in to the bill, and very little, some sources say only about one percent, of the money actually being put toward coronavirus relief, as well as a new surge of illegal immigrants crossing the border into the country.

While summing up his thoughts on border security and the blown chance by conservatives to continue improving border and national security, Hasty said,

We're going to see more of the same of what we did during the Obama years, which is a flood of illegal immigration into the United States. And until we get a new president in there who cares about illegal immigration and stopping what's happening on the U.S. border, there's really not much that can be done...Things were better along the border when Trump was president, but Republicans didn't completely fix the immigration issue. When Republicans had both the House and the Senate, when Republicans had the White House and the House and the Senate, they did not completely fix the immigration issue. They could have, but they didn't do it.
