On Tuesday's edition of The Chad Hasty Show, Harry Kazianis, Director of Defense Studies at the Center for the National Interest, joined Chad to discuss the critical nature of the situation in the Middle East in the wake of recent attacks on Saudi Arabian oil facilities.

With answers still pending in the investigation into what specific group or nation is responsible, Kazianis summarized the situation, with details about Iranian military capabilities, and the possible consequences of various U.S. actions in response.

While talking about the possible repercussions in the event of U.S. military action against Iran, if indeed it is confirmed that Iran is responsible for the attack, Kazianis said,

The Iranians do have the capability to attack, and attack hard. They can do a lot of damage to our bases, and there's a lot of theories out there that they can even sink a U.S. warship, or maybe even an aircraft carrier. This is something that President Trump has to weigh very carefully.
