Hale County Confirms First COVID-19 Related Death

The Plainview / Hale County Health Department has received confirmation of the first death due to coronavirus in the county.

Including the one death, Hale County had a total of 9 confirmed cases as of Wednesday, April 8th. 2 of these cases have recovered.

Plainview / Hale County Health Department and other response agencies have employed standard response plans designed to address and resolve public health issues and continue monitoring individuals as indicated by the CDC.
