Summer is here and that means hot temperatures and the need to stay hydrated. Brenda Garcia with United Supermarkets joined us today to discuss staying hydrating and gave the audience some great tips.

Garcia encouraged the audience to stay away from high caffeine and high in sugar. Those drinks can actually lead you to become dehydrated which leads people to be tired and even have a compromised immune system.

Garcia said that of course water is the best way to stay hydrated but Garcia told the audience to put fruit in the water to give it a better taste. Garcia also said decaff tea is good to hydrate with.

And of course we can't forget about watermelon. It's great this time of year and can help hydrate you.

Listen to the audio above for more great tips on staying hydrated this Summer.
