Mickie Klafka and Brandon Greer from CATS Playhouse joined Lubbock's First News Wednesday (June 3) to talk about their new play opening this weekend, God's Favorite.

The play is based on the Book of Job, but with a more humorous, light-hearted spin.

"The original is a tragedy," explains Greer, who plays Job Benjamin. "This one, it's a lot more light on its feet, it's a lot more funny and it's a modern day Job."

God's Favorite will being showing on Friday and Saturday nights beginning June 5 and continuing for the next three weekends. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show starts at 7:30 p.m.
