During Wednesday's edition of Lubbock's First News on KFYO, Reagan Sudduth of CATS Playhouse talked about an upcoming production of God of Carnage.

God of Carnage will be Sudduth's first play to produce and direct. The play is about two pairs of parents who try to settle an altercation between their children. As the argument between the parents escalate, they become more and more childish.

When asked about the meaning of the play, Sudduth stated "It's just kind of poking fun at parents in general... there is a lot of irony. You know, parents can act like children, too."

The whole cast is made up of the four parents, "which is actually nice to work with," Sudduth said. Tickets are $14 for adults and $12 for students and seniors. The play will be performed on July 11th, 12th, 18th, 19th, 25th, and 26th at 2257 34th Street. Each night, the doors open at 7:00PM and the play starts at 7:30PM.
