On Wednesday's edition of The Chad Hasty Show, Dr. David Samadi joined the program to talk about the politicization of the coronavirus crisis, the effectiveness of masks, and the growing censorship of physicians and medical experts who do not fall directly in line with the mainstream media lines about the disease.

About the current climate surrounding the virus, and his recent issues with Twitter, YouTube, and other social media platforms, Samadi said,

At this point, the state of coronavirus is ninety percent politics, ten percent medicine. Because if we all stay focused and do the right thing, we can get over this virus. This is nothing that we've never seen before. We've dealt with a lot of ebolas and other viruses, and we can get through this. But we waste so much time attacking and blocking each other...and the waste of energy and time that goes into this, and resources, is what's delaying us.

Samadi reviewed President Trump's performance in dealing with the virus, the use of the drug hydroxychloroquine and other treatments, as well as the effectiveness of masks and social distancing. "This is not going to be the new norm. I understand how the mainstream media is turning the rhetoric from 'two weeks of flattening the curve,' now to like six months of this stuff, but I don't want [people] to think that this is going to be permanent. We're not going to be in masks forever, we're not going to be doing social distancing forever," Samadi said.
