On Monday's edition of The Chad Hasty Show, Matt Mackowiak, political analyst and Washington Times columnist, joined the broadcast to discuss the special session for the 85th Texas Legislature, as well as ex FBI Director James Comey's recent testimony, and what fallout effects the nation may expect from it.

While describing the special session for the Texas Legislature, and the reasons for it being scheduled, Mackowiak said, "To me the story here is the House and the Senate and the gulf that exists between them."

Mackowiak also shared his thoughts on Director Comey's testimony and the questions his statements raised, saying,

I thought it really could have been a home run for those who want to impeach Trump, and that just didn't happen.
