DFW Area Under Serious Consideration for National GOP Convention [Interview]

Tuesday on The Chad Hasty Show, James Dickey, chairman of the Republican Party of Texas joined the broadcast to talk about the latest news on the GOP conventions in Texas.

Dickey and Hasty talked about news in the state, including the planning for the state convention, as well as the possibility of the national Republican Party convention being held in Texas, and whether or not that is really a workable option. Dickey said:

DFW is in the running right now, and they are under very serious consideration. Great facilities, people willing and interested in hosting the event. But the bottom line is...we absolutely are able to pull it off. If anybody can pull it off, Texans can pull it off, and we would welcome them if they choose to have it here.
