Democrat Primary Candidate For US Senate Maxey Scherr to Visit Lubbock

A Democrat vying for her party’s nomination for U.S. Senate will be in the Hub City this week.

Maxey Scherr, who is running in the March 4^th, 2014 Democrat party primary for U.S. Senate, will visit Lubbock on Friday, January 31^st.

Scherr will speak to the Texas Democratic Women of the South Plains at their monthly program meeting.

The meeting will begin at noon at the Furr’s Family Dining at 60^th Street and Slide Road.

Scherr, an El Paso native, attended the Texas Tech School of Law.
