Thursday on Lubbock's First News, Texas State Comptroller candidate, spoke about a Texas Tribune poll, depicting her as in the lead of the race, as well as campaign issues.

She said, "I'm leading on the ideas of fiscal responsibility and free markets. The other candidates are parroting the things that we are talking about in this race." She believes her lead is a result of the public coming to an understanding of what the office is. This occurring in spite of the greater spending of the challengers.

Medina is running against Harvey Hildebran, Glenn Hegar, and Raul Torres for the position.

More information can be found on Medina's campaign website.
