Dan Jackson And Matt Crow Discuss Cotton Industry, Subsidies And Trade [INTERVIEW]

On Wednesday's edition of The Chad Hasty Show, Dan Jackson, General Manager at Meadow Farmers Co-op Gin joined the broadcast to talk about issues in the cotton industry on the South Plains and across the globe.

Jackson and Crow discussed the cotton ginning business, trade and competition with China, subsidies, hemp, and other topics of importance and concern for cotton producers on the South Plains.

Responding to Crow's question about hemp and it's future in the area as a crop, Jackson said,

There's lots of buzz and lots of people talking about it. It would be a great rotational crop to throw into the mix down here with the peanuts and the cotton. I think we'll see it.
