Back-to-School season is just around the corner which means and parents and kids alike are both enjoying the final days of summer, and counting down the days until school begins. And getting ready to go back to school isn't just about clothes and school supplies. Getting ready to head back to school, also means making sure health needs are met.

And that is where CovenantHealth Medical Group's Back-to-School Bash comes in. This event is designed as a fun, one-stop shop for your kid's back-to-school health needs.

According to a press release, the Back-to-School Bash will take place on Saturday, August 3 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at Covenant Northwest Clinic at 611 N. Frankford Avenue.

At the event students will be able to get sports physicals for just $35 dollars and they will be able to get state-required immunizations. Private insurance, Medicaid, or self-pay for just $8 per vaccine will be accepted. Covenant does ask that you bring your child's vaccine records when attending.

There will also be fun activities included like:

  • Exploring first responder vehicles
  • Face painting and balloon animals
  • Obstacle courses and safety exercises
  • Various games, contests and prizes
  • Children's nutrition, including heart-healthy options
  • Dental tips and tricks
  • And much more!

For an extra cost, food trucks will be on hand for lunch.
