Friday on The Chad Hasty Show, Decker Reno, State Chairman of the Texas Federation of College Republicans joined guest host Matt Crow in the KFYO studio to talk about their organization.

Reno and Crow discussed the purpose and goals of the expanding group, and how hard their members work volunteering for candidates, elections, and much more.

While sharing background information about TFCR, Reno said,

We have about 6,000 members throughout the state. The Texas Tech chapter alone has over 400 members...Our main goal is voter registration and 'get out the vote' efforts. We are the foot soldiers, we are the volunteer work, and if there are candidates in the area that are running for office that are Republican, we get out there and we work tirelessly for them.

Reno and Crow also discussed current events, including the recent impeachment of President Trump, and how college students are viewing the action.
