On Monday's edition of Lubbock's First News, Congressman Randy Neugebauer joined Chad and Rex to discuss the latest news coming out of Washington.

When asked about limits to the number of years an elected official can serve, Neugebauer said that term limits were already built into the constitution, and that he doesn't necessarily support them becoming law,

"It takes a little while for members of Congress and senators and other elected officials to learn about the system..."

Neugebauer also talked about the possibility of a part-time Congress. He said he wouldn't mind spending more time in Texas with his constituents and less time in Washington. He also spoke about the possibility of an unmanned border with Mexico and his thoughts on Newt Gingrich as a presidential candidate.

You can listen to Congressman Randy Neugerbauer Mondays at 7:35 on Lubbock's First News.
