Arrington Considering Run For Speaker of the House
Congressman Jodey Arrington is considering a run for Speaker of the House of Representatives.
Arrington's consideration comes after Rep. Jim Jordan failed on three votes to secure the votes needed to become Speaker. Arrington's name has been floated for over a week in some circles due to his ability to get a long with both the moderate and conservative wings of the Republican Party. Arrington is also known has a tremendous fundraiser for the GOP.
Arrington was first elected to Congress in 2016 and currently is the Chairman of the House Budget Committee.
Officials close to Arrington confirmed to The Chad Hasty Show earlier Friday that Arrington was indeed thinking about running for Speaker and Arrington took to X to confirm late Friday.
