On Tuesday's Chad Hasty Show, Texas Railroad Commissioner Ryan Sitton joined the broadcast to talk about the effects that Hurricane Harvey has had, and will continue to have on the oil and gas industry.

While detailing the impact of the storm on the Gulf Coast petroleum refining and storage, as well as petroleum product prices, Sitton said,

That's getting up to about fifteen percent of the nation's refining capacity, or three percent of the world refining capacity. So it's big, big numbers, and it's absolutely going to have an impact around the globe when it comes to refined product prices, gasoline, diesel, that sort of thing.
