Code Enforcement Officers to be Out in East Lubbock on Thursday

Lubbock Police Department Code Enforcement officers will be out in force on Thursday in the neighborhoods surrounding Lowrey Field.  They will be out from 8a to 5p in an area bounded by 50^th Street to the north, 66^th Street to the south, Avenue Q to the east and University Avenue to the west.

An LPD field office will be set up at the K-Mart on University Avenue, along with a dumpster for large items.  Officers will be searching for junked vehicles, substandard housings, nuisance weeds and rubbish and zoning violations.
