Wednesday on The Chad Hasty Show, guest host and Texas Radio Hall of Fame inductee Paul R. Beane was joined by several Lubbock personalities to share their favorite memories of Christmas.

Beane welcomed Lubbock District 4 City Councilman Steve Massengale, Texas District 28 Senator Charles Perry, Lubbock's world renowned sculptor Eddie Dixon, Lubbock County Sheriff Kelly Rowe, and Texas District 84 Representative John Frullo, to share stories and tell of some of the memorable gifts they received.

Artist Eddie Dixon talked about his most memorable Christmas which took place while deployed in Vietnam.

I remember the year we finally got tasked to come into base camp, and we actually ate some real turkey, we actually got to eat real turkey, and we actually had a Christmas. It's absolutely amazing how important that day was to us, especially that you didn't think you were going to see the next one.
