State senator Charles Perry joined the final minutes of The Chad Hasty Show on Friday to share information and help cut through the confusion caused by the COVID-19 crisis for contractors and self employed Texans.

Thousands of people are seeking information and assistance, but have been unable to connect with the state to move forward with their needs. Perry described the work being done in state agencies to speed much needed help and relief.

"Just keep trying. Be patient, keep trying, there is a benefit for self employed individuals," said Senator Perry.
