Chad Seay Discusses Tax, Pay Issues In Lubbock County Commissioner Race [INTERVIEW]
Wednesday on The Chad Hasty Show Chad Seay, candidate for Lubbock County Commissioner Precinct 4 joined Chad in the KFYO studio to discuss issues in the campaign, and share his views.
Seay and Hasty discussed the county budget, spending, and taxes, the maintenance of Lubbock County roads and buildings, as well as the pay raises County Commissioners have received in the recent past.
On the subject of commissioner pay raises, Seay said,
The biggest thing that I'm hearing of course, is the pay raises that the County Commissioners have given their self. Right now County Commissioners make $81,380 a year, that's twice what the average family in Lubbock County makes....That and the tax-creep we have.
