On Tuesday's edition of The Chad Hasty Show, Chad talked about this article in The Atlantic, by Jean M. Twenge entitled, "Have Smartphones Destroyed a Generation?", which deals with the subject of smartphones and the delayed developmental growth and maturing of today's youth.

Hasty said,

The experts say that childhood now stretches well into high school. And it's all because teenagers don't have jobs anymore, they don't have any responsibilities anymore, and they're addicted to their phones. They spend all their time, they don't leave the house. This has ramifications. It'll probably keep having ramifications going into the future.
