Monday on The Chad Hasty Show the candidates vying for mayor in the city of Lubbock met in the KFYO studio to debate issues facing the city of Lubbock, and to share their reasons and qualifications in seeking the office.

Host Chad Hasty moderated the sometimes spirited debate between challenger Stephen Sanders and incumbent Dan Pope. Topics discussed included the candidates' histories and experience, as well as positions on the possible opening of a Planned Parenthood location in Lubbock, the city budget and spending, streets and other infrastructure, and much more.
