After 8 excruciatingly long months of discussing PSI levels of NFL footballs, “DeflateGate” can officially be put to bed.

Thursday morning, a verdict was reached in the Tom Brady v. NFL court case, with District Judge Richard Berman ruling in favor of Tom Brady- throwing out the NFL’s 4 game suspension and allowing him to play Week 1.

Judge Berman urged both parties to reach a settlement, but was forced to take matters in to his own hands when the two parties remained on opposite sides of the spectrum throughout the cases duration.

With this ruling, the NFL can finally move on from the notorious “DeflateGate” scandal that called in to question the legacy of Patriots QB Tom Brady and rocked Patriots nation since the 2014 AFC Championship game when the Patriots footballs were found to be inflated below the league standard.

Barring injury or any other unforeseen situation, the Cowboys will now face a Tom Brady led Patriots team when they go to Jerry World week 5.
