Braddock Weighs In On Tax Reform Reality Versus Expectations

On Monday's edition of The Chad Hasty Show this week, Quorum Report editor Scott Braddock joined the show to talk about the latest news from the state legislature.

Braddock and Hasty discussed current proposals on property tax reform and relief, and how it will all play out on the floor of the legislature.

While speaking about Governor Greg Abbott and what may happen to the final legislation on property tax reform when all the negotiations are complete, Braddock said,

I can't imagine that he would veto it. That would definitely force a special session, given the promises that he has made to do something on property taxes, and as you said, offer some meaningful relief.
