Braddock Talks About ‘Free Texas’ Protest, Possible Challenges To Abbott [INTERVIEW]
Monday on The Chad Hasty Show, Scott Braddock, editor of QuorumReport.com, joined the program to talk about the latest in Texas political news.
Braddock and Hasty talked about the differing campaign styles and methods being used by Republicans and Democrats during the COVID-19 crisis, the Friday night debate between incumbent Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) and Democrat challenger M.J. Hegar, and much more.
Braddock discussed the "Free Texas" gathering outside the Texas governor's mansion last weekend, where protesters and speakers, including state GOP Chairman Allen West and Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller, voiced their disagreement with Governor Abbott's actions during the coronavirus crisis.
Maybe there is some outline of a future primary challenge to Governor Abbott starting to take shape here Chad...At one point somebody in the crowd shouts out, "Run for governor!" Of course there was huge applause for that.
