Wednesday on The Chad Hasty Show Scott Braddock, editor of QuorumReport.com, joined the broadcast to discuss the latest news in Texas politics.

Braddock shared an update on the special election being called for Texas Senate District 30 being sought by Representative Drew Springer, Denton businesswoman Shelley Luther, and Denton Mayor Chris Watts, as well as others.

Braddock said, while speaking about Luther's chances in the race, and her rise in the public eye when she was jailed after defying "lockdown" orders in the early days of the coronavirus crisis,

Her television ads, in thirty seconds, it tells the story and reminds people about it pretty well. If there are real resources put into running that, both on the air, and digitally, I think that she's definitely in this race.

Also in the discussion was the falling approval ratings of Texas governor Greg Abbott, as well as other topics in Texas politics.
