Braddock And Hasty Discuss Texas Speaker Race, More [INTERVIEW]

Monday on The Chad Hasty Show, Scott Braddock, editor of QuorumReport.com, joined the program to discuss the latest news from the world of Texas politics.

Braddock talked about the Texas Speaker of the House race, and the contentious events surrounding the announcement last week by Representative Dade Phelan that he has enough votes to win the speakership.

Braddock said,

Phelan does have a challenge ahead of him in trying to reunite everybody...It is going to be a time when the leadership has to bring everybody together once again, after a moment that was extremely divisive and, quite frankly, to your point, was unprecedented in the history of the House.
