Monday on The Chad Hasty Show, Scott Braddock, editor of Quorum Report joined the show to discuss news and events around the state as well as throughout the nation.

Braddock and Hasty talked about the contest for Chairman of the Texas Republican Party, being sought by current Chairman James Dickey and Allen West (retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel). Also in the discussion was the pending execution of Rodney Reed, as well as Braddock's important work with the Houston based Construction Citizen, an organization working to support the civilian employment success of returning veterans.

While talking about the goals of Construction Citizen, Braddock said,

We have, across this country, about a quarter million veterans who are leaving service, transitioning out of their military service, every year, and construction is a great match for them...I just think it's important that we not just say that we support our veterans in our various communities, but that we also do what it takes to make sure that they're successful when they come back, because those transitions are very difficult for them.
