Many buildings in the city of Lubbock has a history to them. Many of the buildings have an interesting back story that most may not know. Some buildings you may scratch your head on and some you may agree with. We couldn't put every storied building on the list, but these stood out to us as clear cut greatness.

Goodness knows there are plenty of dumb stories and events that grace our news desk each week, but this list includes the ones that stick out to me involving basic events and political goings-on. This list includes silly things that have happened, down to terribly irresponsible things that should have never happened at all.

There are plenty of places here to swing in and see what kind of cheer the residents are sharing with their neighbors, at least until they get the first electric bill of the new year. In this list, we’ll go over some of our favorite places to go see neighborhoods lit up with the Yuletide cheer.

The Texas Tech University campus is the second largest, in land size, in the United States and it features Spanish Renaissance design and architecture throughout most of the major buildings. If you haven't had a chance to spend time on campus, we recommend you do so.
