After Injury To Chad Henne, Chiefs Sign Matt Moore To Backup Patrick Mahomes
If you have been keeping up with the Kansas City Chiefs then you know that former Dolphins starter Chad Henne was set to back up second year starter Patrick Mahomes.
However, with Henne suffering a fractured ankle, the Chiefs have signed a new quarterback to backup Mahomes.
The 35-year-old Moore holds a 15-15 record as a starting quarterback. Why is that important you might ask? Well, if Mahomes isn't more cautious in taking hits when he doesn't need to, like in this video, Moore will be the guy called upon.
The Kansas City Chiefs open regular season play on the road against the Jacksonville Jaguars on September 8th at 12:00 p.m.
