Additional details, including the identity of the victim, have been revealed in regards to a shooting that happened the night of Wednesday, September 15th in Lubbock.

Officers were near the area of East 4th Street when they heard several gunshots nearby. This was a little bit after midnight.

KAMC news reports that soon after, a call came in response to an injured man on the north side of the Hilltop Apartment complex.

On arrival, police found the man, now identified as 32-year-old Bradley Davis, with a gunshot wound around his lower left ribs. He was eventually transported to University Medical Center by EMS with serious injuries, but it was last said that he was in stable condition.

Police noted multiple shell casings from different guns starting in front of one of the apartments. The shell casings were found in 2 different locations. Witnesses at the scene said that the suspect vehicle was a gray passenger car, but no further information was made available.

Due to his injuries, police weren't able to get a statement from Davis. As of Friday, September 17th, any suspects had not yet been identified or arrested.
