Gov. Abbott to Issue Guidance on Reopening the Texas Economy

Governor Greg Abbott will have a press conference today that could set the stage for reopening the Texas economy. When that reopening will happen is still an unknown, according to Scott Braddock of the Quorum Report.

Braddock joined the Chad Hasty Show on Monday to discuss the governor's press conference and talked about the mood among some in the business community.

There are fears that the longer the shutdown continues, the more likely it is that businesses will fail. The goal for the State of Texas? Balancing the economy with the health of the people.

Braddock also discussed the news in the oil markets and why we aren't seeing much of a positive trend in oil prices on Monday.
