Abbott Says Texas DPS Gave Secretary of State Wrong Voter List

Thursday on The Chad Hasty Show live from the press conference room in the state capitol, Texas Governor Greg Abbott joined the program to discuss the priorities in the 86th session of the Texas legislature, which include budgets, property tax reform and much more.

While discussing the confirmation for the Secretary of State, and talking about the incorrect data that was passed about illegal voter rolls in Texas, Abbott said,

The Secretary of State was hamstrung by faulty information from the Department of Public Safety from the beginning, and did not know that. So part of fault goes to Steve McCraw, the Director of the Department of Public Safety,, for causing the error in the first place.
