A lot of parents in Lubbock and in the surrounding areas own and keep guns inside their homes. An important thing for parents to do is educated their own kids about guns and what to do if they ever find a gun in the home or anywhere else they may play or be at.

For many parent's it's also important that their kid learn how to shoot and importantly, how to shoot correctly. and everything that is involved with that. And there are some parents who wonder at what age can kids learn how to shoot.

That's why I thought the event that 41 Lead Farm is hosting is such a great idea, and it's an idea you don't see in many places.

41 Lead Farm will be hosting a Summer Youth Shooting Clinic for kids ages six through sixteen are invited to participate. According to their Facebook page, all skill levels meaning new to experienced can join the class.

The 41 Lead Farm Summer Youth Shooting Clinic will be held on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at 41 Lead Farm. You can get more information, including maps, here.

There will also be a meeting on April 26th at 6:00 p.m. for those with questions about the 41 Lead Farm Summer Youth Shooting Clinic. The meeting will be at 41 Lead Farm. Be sure to bring a pistol in a bag or holster and of course ammunition. Those attending classes will of course need eye and ear protection.

Again, I think this class is a great idea for kids who mature enough to handle such a class and training. Good for 41 Lead Farm. I bet the classes will be full, so sign up early.
