2020 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and 2020 Mercedes CLS 53 AMG Test Drive
Thursday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin, The Car Pro Jerry Reynolds joined Dave and Matt to talk about his test drive of the week, his test drive of last week, as well as other auto industry news.
This week The Car Pro was test driving the 2020 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. Jerry started the discussion by explaining that this car was completely redone in 2018, but has not really seen any changes since then. He was impressed that it has a very smooth and quiet ride in comparison to older versions. This model allows for the removal of both the roof and the 4 doors. The car has a 2 liter 4 cylinder turbo engine.
It's got 275 horses, and when you get on this thing, and the turbo kicks in, it will pin you to the seat.
Jerry went on to say that he would even use this as a daily driver now, that it keeps the Jeep heritage, and that he thinks people will like it. The car also has good back seat room and cargo room and has a sticker price of $55,000.
The Car Pro also talked about his test drive of the previous week that was missed due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Jerry test drove the 2020 Mercedes CLS 53 AMG. Reynolds said that this car is a beast with a handbuilt engine, and that they always maximize the horsepower, with this one coming in at 449 horses. Jerry was so impressed that he plans on picking this car up in his next lease, saying,
I would say at this point, this is probably my next car.
Jerry went on to say that this car has amazing seats that will give you a real massage. The car also has boulsters that move depending on how hard you turn, great features and tech, and ambient lighting with over 100 colors.
