‘1776 the Musical’ Brings Historical Figures to Life [INTERVIEW]

Mike Morgan, who plays John Adams in Moonlight Musicals' 1776 the Musical, joined Lubbock's First News Tuesday (July 14).

The musical begins in June of 1776 with the second Continental Congress meeting in Philadelphia when members are trying to decide if the colonies will declare independence from England.

"It brings to life Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, all of these folks who attended or who were members of the Continental Congress," said Morgan,adding that "...You see a lot of who these men really were and what their passions were."
