West Texas Friday Night Scoreboard’s Steven Orr Picks Idalou vs. Littlefield As High School Football Game Of The Week [AUDIO]
On the Thursday edition of the Chad Hasty Show, Steven Orr from the “West Texas Friday Night Scoreboard” show talked with Chad Hasty about his picks for the big games in high school football this week.
Week 2 in high school football kicks off tonight with Estacado High School taking on Canyon. Orr said this will be Estacado’s toughest game yet, despite the team being one of the quickest in the district. He said he is looking forward to seeing if Canyon can keep up
Another big game to watch will be Lubbock Cooper vs. Lubbock High. Orr said that Cooper has had a very good team this year, despite their 1-1 record so far. He warned that Lubbock High’s defense has been struggling all this season, and that the Westerners better come “ready to play,”
For Week 2, Orr picked Idalou vs. Littlefield as his game of the week. Idalou is coming off a victory against Seminole last week, but Orr noted that the team hasn’t been able to put up many points on the board this season. As for Littlefield, Orr explained that the team is coming off a tough loss against Shallowater, but he’s still giving Littlefield a slight advantage in this match-up. Other games to watch this week include Coronado vs. San Angelo Central, Brownfield vs. Andrews, and Monterrey vs. El Paso Americas.
