First, I was declared The Retail Reaper. Now, I am The Recall Reaper!

The USDA has announced a recall of José Olé brand beef taquitos. They contain more than beef and corn. They have rubber and plastic in them as well. I don’t know about you, but rubber and beef don’t mix!

According to our best friends at The Consumerist:

The affected product is 60-ounce packages of José Olé beef taquitos, which contain 60 taquitos each. They’ll have the USDA establishment number M-5590. Look for case codes 3366365A, 3366365B, 3366365C, or 3366365D if you have the affected package size on hand. The company says that they were shipped to stores in California, Florida, Illinois, Missouri, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Wyoming.

I contacted one Lubbock Walmart location and they had none of the products listed on hand. But even with that being said, it would still be a good idea to check your refrigerator and see if you have them.

Should you have any of these products, don’t eat them (that should go without saying) and return them to where you got them for a refund.

THE REAPER STRIKES AGAIN!
