Thursday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin, The Car Pro Jerry Reynolds joined Dave and Matt to talk about his test drive of the week, what it was like to have a no power for a week and how his previous test drive helped him, as well as other auto industry news.

This week The Car Pro was test driving the 2021 Genesis GV80, a car that has been in the news a lot this week, seeing as it is the exact same vehicle that Tiger Woods recently had his wreck in. Jerry was incredibly impressed with this car, saying,

This is a spectacular SUV. This one is going to be a game-changer for Genesis and SUVs as a whole.

The GV80 has 375 horses under the hood, is all wheel drive, has a beautiful interior, and is a roomy 5 passenger with an optional 3rd row seat that is a bit smaller. But what Jerry really had to compliment about this car was its variety of cool features. The SUV has heated and air conditioned seats, an infotainment system that will play peaceful sounds such as the ocean or a fireplace at the push of a button, an amplifier that will amplify the voices of those in the front seat to those behind so that you don't have to turn around, and even the ability to move the whole car forward and backwards from buttons on the key fob, which Jerry says you probably wouldn't use very often, but says its still cool. The car has a window sticker price of $65,775.

Reynolds also talked about several stories on his website carprousa.com, including what to consider when you're choosing your first sports car, the JV power dependability study results including Lexus, Portia, and Kia, and finally a story on how Jerry fared during the winter storms and power outages where he had 8 hours of power total and had to charge all his devices in his previous test drive.
