The Texas Tech School of Law will host the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals.

Law students and the public will have a special opportunity to view the court, which usually presides in Austin, in action.

The event will take place at 9 a.m. Wednesday, October 2nd. It will be held in the Donald M. Hunt Courtroom in the School of Law, located at 1802 Hartford Avenue.

The Court of Criminal Appeals is Texas’ highest court for criminal cases. It consists of a presiding judge and eight judges.

Oral arguments will be heard in two cases beginning at 9 a.m. Wednesday.
