Texas Tech Baseball Takes on Longhorns Following Thursday Loss

Texas Tech baseball is taking on the Longhorns in the second game of a three game series Friday evening.
The Red Raiders lost 7-4 to the University of Texas at Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park Thursday evening in front of 3,216 fans.
Tech took a 4 to 2 lead in the bottom of the fifth inning following a three-run homer by first baseman Scott LeJune, but the Longhorns responded with five runs in the last four innings.
Friday evening’s game begins at 6:30 p.m. in Lubbock, and Saturday’s game is scheduled for 2 p.m.
This is the 44th consecutive year as the Longhorns currently lead the series 103-37. The Red Raiders have not had a series win against the University of Texas since 2002 in Lubbock.
