Texas Tech Athletics Teams Up with LIDS Sports to Run Double T Zone

Texas Tech Athletics and a large sports group have teamed up to operate the University’s sports store.

The university has teamed with LIDS Sports Group for the operations and management of the Double T Zone, located on the east side of Jones AT&T Stadium.

They also plan to have a presence for the Double T Zone in Raider Alley during home football games and kiosks at other Tech sporting events such as baseball, softball, basketball, and soccer.

Texas Tech Deputy Athletics Director and CFO Bobby Gleason said “The Double T Zone, our official store, will benefit greatly from LIDS Sports Group’s expertise in the collegiate retail market. LIDS Sports Group plans to be very aggressive and wants to provide Red Raider fans every opportunity to purchase officially licensed Texas Tech gear.”

As the official retailer of Texas Tech Athletics, all sales from the Double T Zone directly benefit the University’s athletic programs.
