A Texas Tech alumnus has been appointed to the Board of Regents for a University in Wichita Falls.

Samuel Sanchez of Fort Worth has been appointed to the Midwestern State University Board of Regents by Governor Rick Perry.

Sanchez, an attorney, received his bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech before obtaining a law degree from Texas Wesleyan University Law School. He is a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Texas, and the Tarrant County Family Law Association.

Also appointed to the Midwestern State Board of Regents are Fenton Lynnwood Givens of Plano, and Charles “Jeff” Gregg of Seymour.
